The skies of St Claire have had an overhaul! I’ve gotten much better at editing the sky ini & colour ramp files, and I am really happy with the “weather” in St Claire now. It will certainly be interesting to see how it looks with actual weather and seasons!
Here’s a wee snapshot of the skies, from CAW. In game they mix and mingle into a huge variety of skies, but obviously I can’t take a picture of everything!
Sure will be! There’ll be a few new families added to the mix too :)

Also worth noting that the skies etc have had a pretty substantial revamp for the St Claire update :) I like it very very much. I’ll try and snap some piccies of the new skies soon.
That sounds awful! Unfortunately I have no advice (I haven’t updated yet - waiting for seasons), but maybe someone else has some? Did you make a backup before updating? always a good idea :)

I am a busy bee at the moment with work, but most of my spare time is going into making new lots and enriching the detail of the world which hopefully will pay off! Its been fun anyway :)
my specs are very underwhelming and nothing special! I play on a laptop, the specs are:
intel core 13 m 350 (2.27ghz)
64bit windows 7
ati mobility radeon hd 5400 (this card sucks, I hate bloody ATI!)
4gb ram
my lappy is probably a year and a half old now, game still runs pretty well but I generally don’t play with CC so that could be why :)
I wanted to make something as a little thanks for you guys being so awesome lately and so I thought why not convert some of my scenery pictures into in game photos c:
This is my first object recolour so forgive me once again if something doesn’t work, just let me know and I’ll do my best to fix it. The .rar contains .sim3packs and .package files of the pictures so you can pick which you prefer to use.

I’ve made three versions of these with different meshes so you’ve got plenty of choice. If anyone actually has any links to other meshes they’d want this on shoot me and ask and I’ll see what I can do c:

Another area in St Claire that’s been given a bit of love is Bradford. I have added a row of shops and a couple of apartments to fill out the gap by the subway. The shop is an apothecary or whatever it’s called in TS3, haha, and it has a little garden out the back. Across the road the two lots that flank the existing playground have been turned into parks - one with an arboretum for the local fairies, and the other has a broomstick arena for witches to let off steam. I have also furnished another of the houses that are adjacent to the park (on main street) and redecorated one of them too. No pics of those though so you’ll just have to wait and see!
